RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
That the application for permanent departures, as set out in Annexure A, for Erf 59770, Cape Town at 5 Scout Road Lansdowne, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in accordance with building plan/drawing number SS-RP-2018/01 dated July 2018 drawn by S. Salie attached hereto as Annexure C, subject to conditions contained in Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report except reason 7.1.4 which is amended as follows:
7.1.4 The proposed departures will not have a significantly adverse impact on the privacy of the objector as the first floor windows facing onto the objectors’ property are bathrooms and en-suite windows which will be opaque glass.
