Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The amendment of the Big Bay Coastal Development Node Urban Design Framework (2005) to allow for a hotel instead of offices on Remainder erf 796 (portion 2.2.B), 16 Beach Estate Boulevard, Big Bay BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

b. The site development plan as per Annexure C for a hotel development on Remainder erf 796 (portion 2.2.B), 16 Beach Estate Boulevard, Big Bay, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

c. City approval in terms of item 158 of the Development Management Scheme to permit proposed development within the Koeberg Restriction Area Overlay Zoning on Remainder erf 796, Big Bay, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
