Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The subdivision of the erf 6196, Parklands into two portions measuring 305m² and 370m2, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in accordance with subdivision plan Erf6196_SubD; dated 5 October 2017, drawn by J Van Eyssen, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

b. The deviation from the Parklands Single Residential Design Guidelines to permit the existing dwelling unit on Portion 1 and the Remainder to be 0m in lieu of 1m along the lateral boundary created by the subdivision, on erf 6196 Parklands, BE APPROVED in terms of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in accordance with the subdivision plan Erf6196_SubD; dated 5 October 2017, drawn by J Van Eyssen, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

c. Approval to permit development within the Koeberg Restriction Area Overlay Zoning on erf 6196, Parklands, be granted in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
