UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application to allow for the proposed subdivision of Erf 409, Croydon, 18 Gay street into two portions. Portion 1 (248m2) and Portion 2 (248m2) in accordance Subdivision Plan No. C5762/Sub Dated March 2018, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to conditions stipulated in Annexure A.
b. The regulation departure to permit the relaxation of Erf 409, Croydon, 18 Gay street of the 4m height restriction within the 3m common building line to 7.609m to allow for the proposed dwellings in Plan No. CS1-01 – 1908-17, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to conditions stipulated in Annexure A.
c. The regulation departure to permit the relaxation of Erf 409, Croydon, 18 Gay street of the permissible 1.5m distance applicable to windows to 1m to allow for the proposed dwelling windows Plan No. CS1-01 – 1908-17, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to conditions stipulated in Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
