UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for the Subdivision of Erf 555, Croydon into two portions in accordance with Subdivision Plan No C5783/Sub dated September 2017, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. The application for Permanent Departure of Erf 555 to relax the permissible height within the 3.0m common boundary line to 6,6m BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
c. The application for Permanent Departure of Erf 555 to permit a window 1.0m in lieu of 1,5m from the common boundary line BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
Amend Annexure A:
2.3 That the balconies on the first floor levels fronting onto Erven 3182 and 3183, Croydon, be omitted from the relevant building plans.
