Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

a. The rezoning of erven 3736, 3737 and 3738 from Single Residential (SR1) to General Residential Subzone GR2, Milnerton as set out in Annexure A, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in the attached Annexure A.

b. The consolidation of erven 3736, 3737 and 3738, Milnerton as per the attached consolidation plan no. erven3736/7/8_con1, dated 9 October 2017, drawn by K Burger, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in the attached Annexure A.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.

Amend Annexure A:

New 2.1.2 The site development plan shall reflect a suitable and sensitive urban design and architectural interface with properties to the east.

Renumber old 2.1.2 to read as 2.1.3 and amend as follows:
New 2.1.3 No more than 56 units may be permitted on-site

Renumber old 2.1.3 to read as 2.1.4 and amend as follows
New 2.1.4 A maximum of 1 parking bay per unit to be provided on-site

Renumber old 2.1.4 to read as 2.1.5 and amend numbering sequence throughout.
