UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
An administrative penalty in the amount of R 20 000.00 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of erf 309, 3 Main Road, Pella for the unauthorised lounge, dining room and stoep extensions, and such penalty BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the said By-Law.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to amend reason 6.3 as follows:
The owner willfully made changes to the existing approved plans in order to suit his circumstances.
Add new:
The gravity of the contravention is considered to be moderately serious.
