UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
The application for the permission required in terms of the Development Management Scheme for those applications as contained in Annexure A attached in respect of a precinct plan amendment and an SDP Amendment for development area 8B on a portion of Erf 149294, South Arm Road, V&A Waterfront, BE APPROVED in terms of the “Heads of Agreement” document signed between the City of Cape Town, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront Company Pty Ltd & Transnet Ltd and the Package of Plans Process read with Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law subject to conditions contained in Annexure A attached and in accordance with the plans in Annexure C.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
Amend Annexure A:
1.2 To permit the amendment of the SDP for development area 8B as contained in Annexure C1 attached subject to conditions below to permit a bungee tower.
