Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

a. The application for consent use to permit a ECD centre in terms of Section 42(i) of the City of Cape Town, Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 on erf 277, 15 Amanda Street, Eersterivier, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in accordance with the attached plan as Annexure C, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

b. The application for permanent departure in terms of Section 42(b) of the City of Cape Town, Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 to permit:
• A setback of 0.0m lieu of 5.0m from a northern boundary
• A setback of 0.0m in lieu of 5.0m from eastern boundary
• A setback of 0.0m in lieu of 5.0m from the street

for the proposed ECD centre on erf 277, 15 Amanda Street, Eersterivier, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b)(i) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in accordance with the attached plan as Annexure C.

c. The application for a permanent departure in terms of Section 42(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 to permit two (2) on-site parking bays in lieu of three (3) on-site parking bays on erf 277, 15 Amanda Street, Eersterivier, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b)(i) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in accordance with the attached Annexure C.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.

Amend Annexure A:

2.1 The ECD Centre shall be limited to the areas as indicated on the site development plan attached as Annexure 3 to the Departmental report with Erf Number 277 and building plans be approved accordingly.

2.3 The hours of operation of the ECD Centre shall be limited to 06:30 – 18:00 from Monday to Friday.
