Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

a. The application for the rezoning of remainder erf 997 Somerset West from Single Residential Zone 1 to Local Business Zone 2 to permit a Place of Instruction to operate from the property BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A

b. The application for permanent departures to permit vehicles to reverse over the sidewalk BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015

c. The application for permanent departure to permit multiple carriageway crossing to the site from the abutting road BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015

d. The application for approval of the site Development Plan No 100 dated 17/11/2018 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to delete the 6th reason.

Note:
References to ‘erf 977’ throughout the case officer’s report must be amended to read ‘remainder erf 977’
