Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

a. The application for City approval to permit work within a Heritage Protection Overlay Zone as set out in Annexure A, on Erven 3333, 2287 and 2907, Gorge Road, Oranjezicht, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, generally in accordance with Annexure C.

b. The application for Council’s Consent to permit a Place of Instruction on properties zoned Single Residential 1 (SR1) and General Residential Subzone 4 (GR4) on Erven 3333, 2287 and 2907, Gorge Road, Oranjezicht, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

c. The application for amendment of the title deed condition as set out in Annexure A, on Erven 3333, 2287 and 2907, Gorge Road, Oranjezicht, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

d. Consent in terms of a restrictive condition in Paragraph 4B(III) in Title Deed No. T12117/1998 to allow excavation work to take place on a portion of Erf 3333 (previously Erf 2372, BE APPROVED in terms of Section of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

e. The consolidation of Erven 3333, 2287 & 2907 Oranjezicht, BE APPROVED in terms of Section of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.

Amend conditions:

B. Conditions imposed in terms of Section 100 of the By-Law
2a Amend: Prior to building plan approval, the owner shall submit a Landscaping Plan for the approval of the Director: Development Management which shall include the following;
2b Add: The proposed development shall be implemented generally in accordance with the approved Site Development Plan and Landscaping Plan.

Add new condition 8: Prior to construction, the applicant shall submit a Construction Environmental Management Plan for the approval of the Director: Development Management
