UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
An administrative penalty in the amount of R 37 438.00 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of erf 31382, Milnerton, for the unlawful building work, and such penalty be approved in terms of Section 98(b) of the said By-Law.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
NOTE: The MPT requested that the relevant Council department urgently determines the structural integrity of the building. The MPT expressed serious concerns about public safety related to this building.
