UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for the common boundary building line departure from Item 22(d) in respect of Erf 2442 Pinelands, 57 Ringwood Drive BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, in accordance with attached Annexure A subject to a condition.
b. The application for the relaxation of the restrictive title deed condition, in respect of Erf 2442 Pinelands, 57 Ringwood Drive BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, in accordance with attached Annexure A subject to a condition.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
Amend conditions:
Add: The design of the addition must be sympathetic to existing built structure on the property.
2.1 Notwithstanding the requirements of the DMS, the proposed addition on the north common boundary shall have a double pitched roof and the maximum wall plate height of the addition shall not exceed 5m. This shall be to the satisfaction of the Director: Development Management.
