Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

a. The application to allow a rooftop base telecommunication station as a consent use on erf 6331, Montague Gardens BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions as set out in Annexure A;

b. The application for a permanent departure to allow the building (with the incorporated rooftop base station) to exceed the permissible height from 11m to 11.995m BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions as set out in Annexure A.


REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to add reason 7.1.4 as follows:

It is consistent with the Mast Location Plan of the Century City Property Owners Association.
