Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

a. The application for a consent use to allow for a place of instruction on erf 3384, Montague Gardens, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law (2015), subject to the conditions as per Annexure A

b. The departure from the parking requirements in order to provide three (3) parking bays in lieu of four (4) bays and a drop-off facility, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law (2015), subject to the conditions as per Annexure A.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.

Amend conditions:
2.3 The operating hours will be limited from Monday to Friday between the hours of 06:30 and 18:00 and the ECD will be closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. In addition, the ECD is permitted to have 1 meeting per term outside of these hours.

References to ‘letters’ in the case officer’s report must be deleted, where applicable.
Delete 2.4, 2.7 and 2.10
