Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

a. The application for building line departure as set out in Annexure A on erf 39, Blaauwbergstrand, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in accordance with project code 0527; dated 15/11/2016, subject to conditions contained in Annexure A.

b. The application for the height departure in respect of the proposed second dwelling wall plate on erf 39, Blaauwbergstrand, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.


REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and amended reasons as follows:

The proposal to permit the height departure will have less impact than the applicant exercising their full right in terms of height.

Delete 7.2.2 and 7.2.3

Amend conditions:
Delete heading in point 2
Renumber 2.1 to be 1.2
Renumber heading in point 3 to be 2
Renumber 3.1 to be 2.1
