UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
An administrative penalty in the amount of R 22 720.00 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of erf 1146, Blaauwbergstrand, and such penalty be approved in terms of Section 98(b) of the said By-Law.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to add the following reasons:
- Since this is a group housing scheme the applicant must have been aware of the rules.
- The motivation does not explain the contravention.
