Cllr Zondani requested clarity from Liezel regarding the issue of payment as we have poor communities. He also mentioned that disabilities are not shown when they have presentations as the Inclusive City.

Liezel explained that this is meant for communities that are able to pay for their plans and they also complain that the City of Cape Town only works on poor communities. The City of Cape Town then developed this planning initiatives for those who can afford to submit their plans. She further said that it is part of the building regulations for accessibility for people living with disabilities.

She also said when a community sees a problem they have to write an email and that will be included.

Cllr Manata said that the report has been approved so is it proper to comment now whilst everything is approved.

Liezel said that comments can be sent and be placed as Sub Council comments and that will be sent to Urban Management portfolio.

There was unanimous agreement with the resolution.

That the report BE NOTED and comments and suggestions be sent to the Subcouncil for submission.
