Cllr Nikelo asked if there matters arising from the minutes. Cllr Cassiem said that Irvine Street if we can have a site visit with various officials as was said in the last meeting. Cllr Nikelo said that it was not executed and a site meeting will be conducted. Cllr Cassiem also said that issue of scrapyard needs intervention as all our areas are inflicted with scrapyards and would like an update as to what are departments planning to do regarding the scrapyards. He also mentioned the next to area of Pooke Se Bos people need identity documents. Cllr Nikelo wanted to find out if we have Community Development Workers from the province as they were assisting with the issue of getting Identity Documents for community members. The Subcouncil Manager said we do not have CDW’s in the Subcouncil. Ald Jacobs said on the 22nd June 2020 she has an intervention with Home Affairs Department at Thambo Hall and Women for Change people for an intervention in getting identity documents for the community membersCllr Adams said that on page 25 the problem of the electricity was solved on the 17th as the Hazendal Clinic was using the community hall and the facility also need to be fixed and would like the Subcouncil to follow up with the relevant department. There was unanimous agreement with the resolution. RESOLVED That the Subcouncil Manager must follow up the Matters Arising from the Minutes. Action: ANTHONY DANIELS
