The Subcouncil Manager said the report is for noting and information if Councillors have questions of clarity they can raise them. Ald Jacobs said that she would like a follow up meeting with Mr Ivan Anthony and Chad Newman regarding the concerns that were raised about the new Manenberg Library given the security challenges in the current library facility. Cllr Adams said that in the Portfolio Committee Meeting it was reported that one of the employees was held at gunpoint and there were no securities or law enforcement outside the library. Ald Jacobs proposed noting of the report seconded by Cllr Cassiem. There was unanimous agreement with the resolution. RESOLVED That the report on Library and Information services: Quarterly Activity Report for Period 1 January 2022 to 31 March 2022 Be NOTED. Action: ANTHONY DANIELS / CHARL SEPTEMBER
