RESOLVED
 
That the following proposals and amendments to the Rules of Order for Subcouncils be submitted for consideration by the Rules and Ethics Committee : 
Rule Proposal
1.1 APPLICATIONS OF RULES These rules of order apply to all Subcouncils, its committees and / or sub committees, including ward committees
8.1 NOTICE OF MEETINGS Correction of reference to delegation: The chairperson, taking into account the Council’s Calendar of meetings, must determine the dates, times and venues of ordinary and special meetings, in consultation with the Chief Whip of Council , as per delegation 4(5) of Council’s System of Delegations (To approve, in consultation with the relevant chairperson of a committee, any change of a meeting time and dates of meetings and ensures that the calendar of meetings is appropriately amended after consultation with the Speaker)
16. MINUTES (New) Add 16.6: Audio Recordings of all Subcouncil Meetings to be kept for 5 years.
17.1  MOTIONS A motion must be in writing, signed and dated by the member submitting it as well as a member seconding it, must specify, in full, the motion and the date of the meeting at which it is to be considered.
