RECOMMENDED that,

That the said application BE GRANTED Subject to the following standard endorsements for the category of license in respect of:

This business license must be prominently displayed in a conspicuous place in or on the premises so as to be visible to patrons, the public and Council officials at all times.

This business license is not transferable from person to person or from business to business.

The trailer with license number CAA 226794 must comply with the requirements of the Tobacco Products Control Act, Act 83 of 1993, at all times, as amended
-
The Director: City Health reserves the right to call for any other requirements that may be deemed necessary.

The approval of this license does not exempt the holder from compliance with any other licenses, conditions or statutory requirements.

The trailer with license number CAA 226794 must comply with the requirements of the Western Cape Noise Control Regulations, P.N. 200/2013, at all times.

i) The site selected to operate the mobile sauna, shall be so located in such a manner that emissions from the stack serving the equipment will not pose a nuisance to any person residing, operating a business or present in the area.

The equipment is to be operated to the specifications of the City of Cape Town Air Quality Management By-law 2016, as amended, at all times.

Only well cured, seasoned, dry wood is to be used in the fuel burning equipment at all times.
iv) It will be the responsibility of the applicant/ owner to comply with all other requirements applicable to this business/operation which may be imposed by Council including compliance with Planning and Building Development Management, Mechanical Engineering and Noise Administration, Fire and Rescue Services, Traffic Services and Economic Development’s Informal Trading Departments
v) Should smoke nuisances occur during the operation of the mobile sauna, Council reserves the right to withdraw this permit or call for modifications to the equipment, including the installation of air pollution abatement equipment.

Authority be granted to the Head: Environmental Health to sign and issue the necessary license in (a) above.
