RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY:

That an administrative penalty in the amount of R 50 000,00 BE DETERMINED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning Amendment By-Law, 2019 for the unauthorised land use in respect of Erf 7517, Bellville in accordance with the plan attached as Annexure B.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the planner’s report, except reason 6.1, which is amended as follows:



6.1. The land use contravention has been in existence for 2 years 9 months which is regarded to be of long duration.
