Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The consent use to permit sand mining on Portion 4 and Portion 5 of Farm 32 Brakkefontein, Cape Farms, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions set out in Annexure A;


b. The post-mining site development plan as per annexure C subject to any further required land use applications in terms of the Municipal Planning By-Law on Portion 4 and Portion 5 of Farm 32 Brakkefontein, Cape Farms, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions set out in Annexure A

c. City approval in respect of the development application on Portion 4 and Portion 5 of Farm 32 Brakkefontein, Cape Farms, within the Koeberg Restriction Area Overlay Zoning, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report

Amendments to Annexure A:
Amend condition 2.2 as follows:
2.2 The post-mining site development plan shall be approved as reflected on the site layout plan attached as annexure C2, subject to any further required land use applications in terms of the Municipal Planning By-Law
