Supplier guidelines

If you plan to do business with the City then you will need to register as a supplier to be eligible to tender your goods and services. </p> </div>

<h2 class="sectHeading">Register as a supplier</h2><p>Registration will give you access to the tender and procurement portals as well as our e-procurement tool. <a href="https://www.capetown.gov.za/Departments/Supply%20Chain%20Management%20%28SCM%29%20Department">Supply Chain Management</a> manages the supply and acquisition of these goods and services, as well as those who work with us as suppliers. </p><p>You will need to <a href="https://www.capetown.gov.za/City-Connect/Register/Business-and-trade/Register-as-a-supplier">register as a supplier</a> before you are able to do business with the City.</p><p>Specialist suppliers who provide wellness services to the City need to <a href="https://www.capetown.gov.za/City-Connect/Register/Business-and-trade/register-as-a-supplier-on-the-wellness-database">register as a supplier on the Wellness Database</a>.</p><p>Once registered, you also need to <a href="https://www.capetown.gov.za/City-Connect/Register/eservices-and-municipal-accounts/Register-for-a-municipal-account">register for e-services</a>.</p><div class="notification with-heading dark-copy pink bg-light-grey"><div class="graphic with-border"> <i class="info note"></i> </div><div class="desc"><h4>Please note</h4><p>All suppliers must ensure they are registered on the national <a href="https://secure.csd.gov.za/" target="_blank">Central Supplier Database</a>. The limit for RFQs is R200 000 (incl. VAT) and larger contracts for amounts above R200 000 (incl.
