<b></b>The stickers issued to you as an intern agent are linked to the principal agent’s approved application for permits — only a registered principal agent with a permit may supervise your application.</p></div></div></span></span>

<strong>Step 1:</strong> Download and fill out the Intern Estate Agent Permit Application form at the bottom of the page.</p>

<b>Attach to your application:</b></p><ul><li>A copy of your principal agent’s current Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC); if you do not have a current copy, then a copy of the previous year’s FCC, with proof that you have applied for a new one.</li><li>A certified copy of your principal agent’s ID document.</li><li>A copy of your principal agent’s City registration form.</li><li>A certified copy of your ID document.</li><li>Municipal business partner number – which can be found on your personal municipal rates invoice (if you do not have a business partner number, you will need to bring proof of address in order to create one).<br></li></ul></div></div></span>

<p>You will also be requested to pay the new registration fee, which is calculated based on Environmental and Heritage Management tariffs and charges in the document downloads section below.</p>

<b></b>Any faded or damaged stickers can be replaced at your local Municipal office, at no extra cost, only when the original faded or damaged stickers are produced.</p></div></div></span>

<strong>Step 3:</strong> If your application is successful, you will be issued with six ‘learner’ permit stickers, which you can place on your directional boards. </p><h2 class="sectHeading">Payment</h2><p>We accept the following methods of payment:</p><ul><li>
<strong>Cash, debit and/or credit card: </strong>We will cover the bank cost on a cash, debit and/or credit card payment on an amount above R7000 per transaction. We absorb such costs in respect of single payments of R7000 and below. </li><li>
<strong>Direct deposit at any Nedbank branch: </strong>Insert your payment reference number on your deposit slip </li><li>
<strong>Electronic payments (EFT): </strong>Select the City of Cape Town as a bank listed beneficiary on your bank's website. Use your 9 - digit reference number in the beneficiary account number/ payment reference field.</li></ul>
