| Vendor applications are now open for the My Cape Town Market Atlantis | <p>'We are excited to bring the third instalment of the My Cape Town Market to Atlantis. This market is a wonderful opportunity for local artisans to meet customers, show off their skills and, of course, make a bit of money,' said Alderman James Vos, the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth. </p><p>The event will also feature fun activities such as buskers, emerging artists and a children's play zone. <br></p>

<p>'In recent years, neighbourhood markets have become extremely popular as people seek out artisanal treasures that give a flavour of Cape Town. Markets also contribute to job creation and place-making activities in communities. I am therefore pleased to support these platforms that allow aspiring business owners and creators to re-establish connections with past clients, forge new relationships and realise new economic prospects,' said Alderman Vos.</p><p>Applications for trading at the market are now open with each trading bay costing R107,20 per bay/per day for the duration of the event.</p>
