Road closures for the Opening of Parliament Address

The event takes place on Thursday, 18 July 2024. A number of roads will be closed – some closures will be in place until 26 July 2024.
The road closures will be in effect to assist with traffic flow and accommodate the Opening of the 7th Parliament Address at the City Hall.
This will affect the normal flow of traffic in and around the city bowl.
Road users are requested to acquaint themselves with the closures and to plan their routes accordingly.
Motorists should also note that there will be restricted parking in some areas.
