The reinstatement of these roads commenced yesterday, 27 May 2024 and will continue until Friday, 28 June 2024, between 07:30 and 17:00 on weekdays. Some of the work will be conducted on Saturdays, between 08:00 and 13:00.<br></p> | <p>The work will be done along:<br></p><div>•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>Saunders Road between Doig Road and Govan Mbeki Road</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>And Much Binding Road between Saunders Road and Low Road in Wetton</div><div><br></div><div>‘The purpose of this maintenance is to increase the lifespan of these roads in Wetton by rehabilitating the existing road pavement and stormwater infrastructure. The work will include milling and removing existing surfacing layers, replacing existing granular pavement layers at specific locations, resurfacing the affected roads with asphalt, and constructing new catchpits and manholes.
