While the work is being carried out, residents will have electricity supply and will not be affected by stages of Eskom’s load-shedding. The City apologises for any inconvenience caused while the critical maintenance is being carried out.<br></p> | <p>Some news channels are implying this work is affecting all areas in the city. <strong style="text-decoration:underline;">This is not true.</strong> The work will be carried out in Lansdowne only.<br></p><div><strong>Please note that while the work is being carried out, residents will have electricity supply and w<span style="text-decoration:underline;">ill not be affected by stages of Eskom’s load-shedding.</span> Electricity supply interruptions may occur when the work commences in the morning and when the maintenance work is completed in the afternoon. Sometimes, tripping can occur, among others. </strong></div><div><br></div><div>Due to the complex nature of the infrastructure work, the time of restoration may be delayed by a few hours, or as a result of load-shedding.
