Register to use the City’s convenient emailed accounts service<p>'The City's emailed accounts service offers customers a wide range of benefits and we encourage more residents and businesses to sign up for the City service via e-Services or by SMSing the City. </p><p>'Thus far, we have almost 400 000 customers making use of this paperless account service and we would like to see more residents signing up. Emailed accounts eliminates the need for paper, reduces printing costs and ensures you always receive your account well in advance of the payment date. Receiving your municipal account via email is convenient, allows residents to keep track of their accounts electronically, access them anywhere and at any time, and avoid late payments as a result of delayed postal delivery.  </p><p>'Overall, registering for the City's emailed accounts is a win-win for both customers and the City as it is more efficient for both the residents and the City, is cost effective and is an environmentally friendly way to manage your municipal accounts,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Finance, Councillor Siseko Mbandezi. </p><p><strong>Emailed accounts have a number of benefits including:</strong></p><ul><li>Improved efficiency – emailed accounts saves time and customers can pay their accounts as soon as they are able to</li><li>Reduced errors – customers are able to better track their payments</li><li>Reduced environmental impact – reducing paper waste benefits our environment and city</li><li>Reduced costs – emailed accounts eliminates the need for paper and other related service and post-delivery costs</li></ul><p> <strong>Reach out to the City for assistance in signing up </strong></p><p>Register on the City's e-Services for the emailed accounts service.
