Post Office delays due to recent taxi unrest impacting delivery of some municipal bills <p>​‘The City encourages customers who have not received their accounts via the Post Office yet to make a payment using the previous month’s City invoice as a guide. <br></p><div>‘However, customers who receive their invoices via email have not been impacted. In general we encourage our customers to make the switch to paperless eBilling,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Finance, Councillor Siseko Mbandezi. </div><div> </div><div>Furthermore, customers who received an SMS about their billings and the amounts payable on their invoices are requested to make the payment at various third party vendors as displayed on their invoices.</div><div> </div><div>The City encourages customers to switch to eBilling by simply forwarding their email and contact number to: <strong><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;font-family:"century gothic", sans-serif;"><a href=""><span style="color:windowtext;"></span></a></span></strong></div><div>Customers may also submit their request to be registered on eServices or for eBilling via SMS to 31223.</div><div> </div><div>For general enquiries including water, electricity, accounts and motor vehicle licences, residents may call the City’s Customer call centre on 0860 103 089 or <span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:"century gothic", sans-serif;"><a href=""><strong><span style="color:windowtext;"></span></strong></a>.</span></div><div> <br></div><div>Municipal accounts may be paid at any Shoprite/Checkers, Pick n Pay, PEP, Woolworths, USave, Ackermans, Lewis, Top It Up and selected Spar shops. </div><div> </div><div>Online payments may be made at <span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:"century gothic", sans-serif;">t <a href=""><span style="color:windowtext;"></span></a></span> or <span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:"century gothic", sans-serif;"><a href=""><span style="color:windowtext;"></span></a></span>, and motor vehicle licences may be renewed online at<br></div><div> <br></div><div>For account payments:<br></div><div>• Online: <span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:"century gothic", sans-serif;"><a href=""><span style="color:windowtext;"></span></a></span> or <a href=""></a></div><div>• EFTs: Select the City as a bank-listed beneficiary.
