Minibus Taxi Task Team update

Last week, the Mini-Bus Taxi Task Team (MBTTT) resolved to amend and extend the interim agreement until the end of February 2024 at the request of SANTACO-WC. The Western Cape Government and the City of Cape Town have agreed to SANTACO-WC's request for the extension.All MBTTT members are committed to working through the process in a meaningful way. The ongoing priority for all parties is to ensure stability and safety for commuters, especially as we move into the festive season with increased travel needs, and where all efforts are focused on road safety.
