Increase in film shoot bookings a sign of good things for the industry <span><p><br>The Film Permit Office is presently monitoring several productions,  including multiple local TV series, four international feature films and commercials for international clients.  </p><p>Some of these will be filmed in Cape Town until the end of January. </p><p>New permit applications for the upcoming summer film season are also processed daily. <br>The Film Office has already issued 671 permits over the last three months, almost double the 375 permits dispensed in the same period in 2020.<br></p> <figure class="subtopic-fullsize-img"> <img class="responsive" src="https://resource.capetown.gov.za/cityassets/Media%20Centre/Visit%20to%20Atlantic%20Film%20Studios.jpg" alt="" style="width:802px;" /> </figure></span><span><p>‘This is a wonderful indication that there is an interest from international clients to bring their business to Cape Town.
