Gordon’s Bay Drop-off upgrade begins
The upgrade project involves repairing the ramp and installing concrete barriers to improve safety measures and optimise the functioning of the facility, and to ensure the safety of our residents while they are dropping off their recyclable and waste items.

The upgrade is expected to last about 14 weeks. During this time, the facility will remain operational, but users may experience some delays and disruptions.

Residents can use alternative drop-off sites to avoid these possible delays. Swartklip and Faure facilities are the closest alternatives, however a full list of the City's drop-off sites can be found here. Please do not resort to dumping.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time. The City of Cape Town remains committed to providing efficient waste management services to its residents.

End

2024-08-21T22:00:00ZGP0|#1d539e44-7c8c-4646-887d-386dc1d95d70;L0|#01d539e44-7c8c-4646-887d-386dc1d95d70|City news;GTSet|#62efe227-07aa-45e7-944c-ceebacca891dGP0|#8734a1c1-e63b-41d0-a172-cb70cf65694a;L0|#08734a1c1-e63b-41d0-a172-cb70cf65694a|waste;GTSet|#2e3de6c1-9951-4747-8f53-470629a399bb;GPP|#68b084a3-f238-4e33-8c08-97910537f68d;GPP|#ae19c2bf-06c6-40b2-9faa-4ba4f85f4bed;GPP|#488a252c-b852-4f59-b559-f191cb367380;GP0|#ca9ce429-5e55-408b-9cca-895ecb832f8b;L0|#0ca9ce429-5e55-408b-9cca-895ecb832f8b|facilities;GP0|#3bfc38ae-5d8f-4c08-b634-76e27ca72db3;L0|#03bfc38ae-5d8f-4c08-b634-76e27ca72db3|drop off10
