I believe that one of the major factors for Cape Town's status as the metro with the lowest unemployment rate is the City's real and continued delivery of upskilling platforms that equips businesses with the necessary insights and abilities for growth,' said Alderman James Vos, the City of Cape Town's Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth.

Many of the sessions will be hosted online, allowing residents to access them wherever they are.

The Business Hub's team is also available to answer queries regarding red tape, finding financing and more.

'As a City, we strive to help new and small businesses to navigate the often tricky terrain that comes with growing their platforms and operations. Our mission is to build out the depth and diversity of our economic geography – for those that participate and for those that consume – with a strong focus on building sustainable businesses and entrepreneurs,' said Alderman Vos.
