City’s Mobile Office off to Manenberg, Uitsig and Bridgetown

The details are as follows:<ul><li>Wednesday, 13 September 2023, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Tambo Community Hall, Corner of Oliver Tambo and Silverstream Road, Manenberg.</li><li>Thursday, 14 September 2023, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Uitsig Community Hall, Hibiscus Street, Uitsig.</li><li>Friday, 15 September 2023, from 09:30 - to 13:30 at the Silvertown Community Centre, 64 Olympic Linaria, Bridgetown. The intention is to provide customer services to communities that are far from municipal facilities, such as housing and subcouncil offices or Free Call lines. Residents will be assisted with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can also engage with the City on a wide range of non-emergency enquiries and all other account enquiries. To date, the mobile office team has been very effective in resolving long outstanding queries for residents. 'Our aim is to see fewer and fewer people taking time off or spending money to catch a minibus-taxi or bus, going to our service centres. I urge residents in Manenberg, Uitsig and Bridgetown to take up this special opportunity to resolve any outstanding municipal items. Should you wish to make use of the services on offer, do remember to bring along your ID or municipal accounts to help ease the process,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
