City takes services to Tafelsig, Mitchells Plain

The details of the visit are as follows: 24 April 2024, from 09:00 to 15:00 at the Thusong Centre, 2 Pyrenees Street, Tafelsig The departments that will be present are:• Human Resources: for enquiries about bursaries, internships and apprenticeships• Social Development: to find out how you can get involved• Finance: for all enquiries about municipal accounts• Health: for more about primary health care services• Safety and Security: for information about traffic and law enforcement services• EPWP: will assist jobseekers and unemployed youth to register on jobseekers database to make them eligible for job opportunities that become available in their local communities The City's Customer Relations Department's mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can engage with the City on a wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries. 'Taking the City's services to the community of Tafelsig is the City's way of showing that we are committed to bringing services to residents and to make the municipality more accessible to all. Those who will be visiting us at the Thusong Centre on Wednesday must please remember to bring along their ID or municipal accounts to help ease the process,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
