reducing their water usage until the Blackheath Water Treatment plant’s water
production has been restored fully.</span></em></strong><br></p> | <p></p><p>The City's Water and Sanitation Directorate has completed phase one of the planned temporary shutdown of its Blackheath Water Treatment Plant which started at 08:00 on Monday morning, 10 October 2022 and would have continued until 08:00 on Friday, 14 October 2022. Phase 1 involved the repairs to a leak at the Plant which has now been completed. </p><p> </p><p>Phase 2 of the work, which includes routine maintenance, was also scheduled for this week but has been postponed to a later date.
