City removing all election posters<p>Political parties received ample notice that the City would start removing the remaining election posters from Tuesday, 18 June 2024. </p><p>The City asks that residents please report election posters that they notice in their neighbourhoods or while driving around Cape Town. </p><p> </p><p>The City has been removing posters all over Cape Town over the past week, but the focus has been on the main routes and scenic drives. </p><p> </p><p>Posters of about 20 different parties have been removed. </p><p> </p><p>Residents may notify the City of any election posters spotted by emailing the specific street location and suburb to <a href="mailto:Dimitri.georgeades@capetown.gov.za">Dimitri.georgeades@capetown.gov.za</a>.
