City reminds public of voter registration poster rules<p>The City would like to remind political parties and the public that posters referring to an official Independent Electoral Commission Voter Registration weekend may be put up four weeks before the registration date and must be removed within seven days thereafter.</p><p>Thus, all of these posters must have been removed by 11 February 2024. </p><p>It has come to the City's attention that some posters still remain even after the removal deadline of 11 February 2024.</p><p>Residents who spot such posters can report them via the City's service request portal <a href="https://eservices1.capetown.gov.za/coct/wapl/zsreq_app/index.html" target="_blank">CCT Service Requests (capetown.gov.za)</a>.
