City mourns the passing of Councillor Henry Davids <p>​The City of Cape Town is saddened by the passing of Councillor Henry Davids who lost his battle with cancer.</p><p>Councillor Davids passed away in hospital last night at the age of 66.</p><p>He has been a councillor for more than 18 months, having been elected to council in 2016. <br>He served on the Sustainability and Resilience Cluster Committee.</p><p>Prior to becoming a PR councillor in the City of Cape Town, he worked as a senior administrative officer at the University of the Western Cape.
