City calls on registered NPOs and PBOs to apply for humanitarian food relief services<p>‘Registered NPOs and PBOs must have experience in the preparation and distribution of cooked meals as well as the distribution of raw food products and the direct supervision of community-based organisations for the preparation and the distribution of cooked meals.</p><p> ‘They should have at least three months’ experience operating soup or food kitchens and should be able to provide nutritional well-balanced meals to vulnerable communities and beneficiaries. A track record of their successful operations and details of the communities or beneficiary groups that they previously served is also a requirement,’ said Alderman Twigg, Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Management.</p><p>All applicants are requested to apply via email at <a href="mailto:admin.HRP@capetown.gov.za" target="_blank">admin.HRP@capetown.gov.za</a> as hard copies are no longer permitted.  The application form and the business and project plan can also be accessed via <a href="https://www.capetown.gov.za/HumanitarianRelief" target="_blank">www.capetown.gov.za/HumanitarianRelief</a></p><p>All enquiries are to be directed in writing to <a href="mailto:admin.HRP@capetown.gov.za" target="_blank">admin.HRP@capetown.gov.za</a>.
