We are bringing services to your doorstep
The City’s customer service teams assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. To date, the Mobile Office team has been effective in resolving long outstanding queries for residents. On the other hand, the Basket of Services officials from the different departments are available at these sites to guide and assist residents accordingly. Today, 30 March 2022, Alderman Theresa Uys, the Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, was at the Morning Star Community Hall to meet and greet residents who arrived for the services on offer. The services are available until 15:00.

Tomorrow, 31 March 2022, the Mobile Office will take the services to Strand, at the Beverley Hills Life Change Centre at the Corner of Boundary and Webb Street. The officials will be on site from 09:30 until 13:30.

‘It is good to see the meaningful turnout at this facility, with residents taking full advantage of this opportunity to have someone talk to them about their service issues. Nothing beats human interaction and face-to-face assistance. I want to encourage residents in the other areas to also not miss out on resolving services issues without the need to travel. I had the privilege of interacting with two elderly residents - one had an issue with his water and the other with electricity tariffs. Our officials were able to assist them on the spot, within minutes. Seeing them being assisted and leaving satisfied gave me a sense of pride in our service excellence,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.

End
2022-03-29T22:00:00ZGP0|#1d539e44-7c8c-4646-887d-386dc1d95d70;L0|#01d539e44-7c8c-4646-887d-386dc1d95d70|City news;GTSet|#62efe227-07aa-45e7-944c-ceebacca891dGP0|#ada69023-b456-4376-8646-f13edaaa3e9b;L0|#0ada69023-b456-4376-8646-f13edaaa3e9b|customer service;GTSet|#2e3de6c1-9951-4747-8f53-470629a399bb;GP0|#4912afdc-dce5-4716-9b76-7c5c32cf5316;L0|#04912afdc-dce5-4716-9b76-7c5c32cf5316|corporate service delivery;GP0|#dc3d458e-744d-4a65-984f-97c964e3c982;L0|#0dc3d458e-744d-4a65-984f-97c964e3c982|Morning Star10
