This new year surprise has provided a little extra festive cheer. We commend our volunteers for staying cool under pressure and helping the mom give birth. Our staff have quite the track record in helping bring new life into the world. It’s just more than five years ago now that two other Disaster Management staff members also helped deliver a baby in the Camps Bay area just before Christmas. On that occasion, it was a boy who was named after one of the staff members. Well done to all,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Safety and Security, Alderman JP Smith.

End
2022-01-04T22:00:00ZGP0|#1d539e44-7c8c-4646-887d-386dc1d95d70;L0|#01d539e44-7c8c-4646-887d-386dc1d95d70|City news;GTSet|#62efe227-07aa-45e7-944c-ceebacca891dGP0|#21decc0d-8a23-42fe-b5c3-2463a365afc5;L0|#021decc0d-8a23-42fe-b5c3-2463a365afc5|Baby;GTSet|#2e3de6c1-9951-4747-8f53-470629a399bb;GP0|#ff0b55f9-77e2-44c8-8ba0-61504af16684;L0|#0ff0b55f9-77e2-44c8-8ba0-61504af16684|Beach10
