RESOLVED that it be NOTED that an application for a liquor licence received from THE SHED: CAPE TOWN was considered in terms of sub-delegated authority and that the following recommendation was forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008, as amended:
Subcouncil 16 recommends that the application for a Consumption ON Premises Liquor Licence, reference no. LLA23080021, for the business The Shed: Cape Town, NOT BE SUPPORTED
The Subcouncil cannot support the application for the following reasons:
1. Premises not in possession of a valid business licence.
2. City Emergency had no access to the premises and therefore could not conduct their inspection
3. Many objections received from affected parties.
