Khayelitsha Wetlands ParkKhayelitsha Wetlands Park<p>The Khayelitsha Wetlands Park is an excellent example of sustainable development in an urban environment. It is an area with important conservation value and has a growing eco-system that supports many plant and animal species. It is also a nesting site for a variety of migrant birds.</p><p>The park provides the local community with economic, social and recreational benefits and is a hub for ecotourism and environmental education.Throughout the 45-hectare park are trails for joggers and cyclists, it is also pet friendly.
