RESOLVED that it BE NOTED that an application for a liquor licence received from SEA FIVE was considered in terms of sub delegated authority and that the following recommendation was forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008, as amended:
Subcouncil 16 recommends that the application for a Consumption ON Premises Liquor Licence, reference no. LLA24080021, for the business SEA FIVE at 5 CENTRAL CAMPS BAY / BAKOVEN SHOULD NOT BE SUPPORTED
NOT SUPPORTED WITH REASONS:
1. The property is zoned as General Residential which allows for a guest house on the property.
2. No proof or confirmation of application or approval as a hotel. Guest House zoning does not permit the sale of alcoholic beverages.
3. Premises not in possession of a business licence (Sale & Supply of Meals)
