RESOLVED that it BE NOTED that an application for a liquor licence received from DELI ON SCOTT was considered in terms of sub delegated authority and that the following recommendation was forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008, as amended:
Subcouncil 16 recommends that the application for a Consumption ON Premises Liquor Licence, reference no. LLA24080009, for the business DELI ON SCOTT at 7 SCOTT GARDENS SHOULD NOT BE SUPPORTED;
Subcouncil does not support the application for the following reasons:
1. No Land Use Approval is in place.
2. The sale of alcohol on the premises is not permitted as a primary right.
3. "Outdoor Seating" in a built up residential street, is not permissible in respect of a liquor license.
4. The applicant does not have a business license and need to apply for it.
5. The applicant does not have approved plans.
