RESOLVED that it BE NOTED that an application for a liquor licence received from EIGHTY 2 ON M was considered in terms of sub delegated authority and that the following recommendation was forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008, as amended:
Subcouncil 16 recommends that the application for a Consumption ON and OFF
Premises Liquor Licence, reference no. LLA24080008, for the business EIGHTY 2 ON M at 82 MAIN SEA POINT, BE SUPPORTED WITH CONDITIONS;
Subject to:
1. The completion of the construction of the roof top of the building, to which this application is aimed.
2. The sale of alcohol being for the hotel and residential guests only and not for general public outside of the building.
3. The trading hours being limited until latest 23h00, as open rooftop drinking may impact the surrounding neighbours negatively.
4. Only background music being allowed and no loud or live music.
5. All applicable by-laws to be adhered to.
